"Eat in to Help Out" dinner to donate to the U.N. Millennium Development Goals

"Eat In To Help Out" was a national event sponsored by the Episcopal Church. The concept is for a group of friends to get together and eat in at someone's house, then take all the money they would have spent on eating out and donate it to an organization that supports the U.N.'s Millennium Development Goals. Along with our friends we raised $400 for Millennium Promise, an organization that supports self-sustaining economies in poverty-stricken villages in Tanzania.

Who supports the of the U.N.'s Millennium Development Goals?

Who has a crush on the economist Jeffrey Sachs?
Great conversation with great friends about development efforts. Posted by Picasa
